Empowering Creativity: Art Club Designs for the East LA Classic
Our Art Club has been busy designing eye-catching flyers for the East Los Angeles Classic, the big game between Roosevelt and Garfield High Schools! In collaboration with the Breakfast Club, our young artists are using their creativity to promote school spirit and energize the community. This project encourages them to express their talents while making a positive impact.
Fostering Learning and Personal Growth in Our Youth
Two young mathematicians are teaming up to tackle a tough problem, while another regular student takes a break to enjoy his favorite superhero reading. Our center offers a supportive space where students can focus on their studies, pursue personal interests, and find a balance between learning and relaxation.
Empowering Young Women: A Journey to the Women in Leadership Conference
At the Salesian Family Youth Center, we empower young women by connecting them with inspiring role models. We are taking over 20 young ladies to the Women in Leadership Conference sponsored by the LA Chamber of Commerce, where they will gain valuable insights and confidence to pursue their dreams, helping them build the skills and motivation needed for brighter futures.
Celebrate with Us at the Thanksgiving Celebration
Join us for a memorable evening at our Thanksgiving Celebration on November 21, 2024, starting at 6 PM! This special event will feature live music, delicious food, fun games, and much more, all in celebration of the season of gratitude. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community, enjoy great company, and support the mission of the Salesian Family Youth Center.
